On the FARO® Laser Scanner Focus and Focus3D, error number 1440 means there is an internal operational failure of some nature. This could be caused by a variety of internal errors.
Before contacting FARO support, the following should be considered and checked:
- Check if your firmware is up to date. A firmware update can often resolve most issues. Refer to your respective model's latest firmware update below.
- Have you tried a factory reset? Click here for a quick step-by-step.
- Have you been using your equipment in a valid temperature range? Refer to your respective model's tech sheet below.
