If you find that your sounds are not working when your Serial FaroArm is turned on or you wish to have the warning sounds for your Arm and Software, you will want to follow the following steps to verify that they are set up correctly.
On your computer, go to “Start”>”Control Panel”>”Sounds and Audio Devices”. At this screen make sure in the “Device Volume” section the sound is not muted.
Then go to the “Sounds” tab and make sure you have the CAM2 Measure sound events listed. If there is not a scheme for “FARO”, you can create one if you wish but it is not necessary as long as the sounds are listed. You can just select the windows default and make sure the CAM2 sound events are in the list. Then save it as the “FARO” scheme.
Make sure you select “Apply” and “OK” to exit.
Next, open the CAM2 Measure software. Go to “Device”>”Hardware Config” and make sure the “Stress Stops” are enabled.
