Accuracy Expectations with the Laser Tracker and FaroArm Used in a TrackArm System

Overview

As long as neither the FaroArm^®, the FARO^® Laser Tracker or the part moves, no additional loss of accuracy is incurred and the specs stated in the FARO Laser Tracker are still valid. The FaroArm accuracy will be the accuracy spec of the FaroArm in addition to the error reported during the aligning of the TrackArm system. This error is similar to the error you would get during a Move Device Position. The error will only apply to the FaroArm, not the FARO Laser Tracker.
