Yes, the trackers IP Address can be changed from the default of 220.127.116.11 to an address that the operator chooses.
Using FARO Utilities, click Connect, then click Find Trackers. Once the Tracker is located, you can press the "Change IP Address" button.
Another method to change the IP address is to connect to the tracker at 18.104.22.168 (or its current IP address if it has already been changed). Open Tracker Pad from the Utilities and press the "Set IP Address..." button down towards the bottom.
A reboot of the Tracker will be required for the new IP Address to work. If you change the IP address of the tracker, you may want to place a label on the tracker indicating its new IP address.
NOTE: For the Vantage, the IP address can only be changed for its wired connection. In wireless mode, its IP address is fixed and cannot be changed.
