Firmware Download Ver 4.7 for the Photon Laser Scanner

The 4.7 firmware for the Photon 20-120 can be found here.

To install it,

  1. Download the file to your desktop
  2. Open the ZIP file and extract it to your desktop
  3. Open up Scene
  4. Connect to Scanner and make sure the Laser is turned on
  5. Go to Scanner > Administrator > Install...
  6. Locate the file you downloaded
  7. Apply the file.
  8. Once the file is finished installing, reboot the LS.


Notes:
-This update only applies to Photons that can communicate with Scene 4.6 (i.e., contain the 4.6 firmware). If your Photon currently does not communicate with Scene 4.6, contact Faro Support for assistance in updating your Photon.
-This update is currently not compatible with non-winding camera tripods.
