Slow Startup/Camera Unresponsive Issues with the Orbis Scanner
Behavior:
Startup process is very slow — and it may happen that the scanner is unable to scan. This may particularly occur after the Orbis ran out of battery and shut down.
Solution:
Starting Situation: The camera is not responding.
- If the camera LED is not illuminated, reboot the scanner.
- If the camera LED is blinking red, press and hold the power button on top of the camera until the camera is turned off. When the LED is off, reboot the scanner.
- If the camera LED briefly turns blue and then turns off after the scanner reboots, the camera battery may be insufficient. Keep the scanner powered on for at least 10 minutes to allow the camera battery to charge, then reboot the scanner again.
Always check your battery charge and recharge the battery before it runs out!
