Remote Scan Access Error
Depending on your Windows version and network policy settings, you may receive the following error when using the “Scan using FARO Focus” function:
"You can't access this shared folder because your organization's security policies block unauthenticated guest access. These policies help protect your PC from unsafe or malicious devices on the network,” this is due to a Windows update to security settings."
In a recent Windows update, insecure guest access has been disabled which will block the ability to retrieve scan files from the Focus laser scanner.
