Gage 1.5.2 Will Not Open up and Freezes on the Loading Application Screen
If Gage 1.5.2 will not open up and freezes on the Loading Application screen, you will need to use Windows Task Manager to end the NullCad.exe application.
Then, rename the following folders to some other name:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\FARO Shared
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\FARO
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Local settings\Application Data\FARO
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\Application Data\FARO
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\Local settings\Application Data\FARO
Note: Some of these folders are hidden folders and it may be that not all of these folders exist.
Install the current USB Arm Drivers onto the computer.
Launch Gage 1.5.2 software. There is a possibility that you will receive error messages that the SPC database or other files cannot be found. If you do, acknowledge these errors and relaunch the Gage software.
At this time, Gage 1.5.2 should open and allow measurements with the Gage Arm.
