Comparing the Centerlines of Cylinders in Measure X, 4 or 3
The Concentricity command in the GD&T menu compares the center lines of cylinders (one of them has to be a datum). However, if a 2D point to point dimension is desired then intersect both cylinders on the same plane.
- Measure 2 cylinders (that should share a center line)
- Measure a plane (or construct a parallel plane in between the 2 cylinders)
- Construct points where the cylinders intersect the plane. Construct Point < Line / Feature
- Dimension distance between the 2 points
