Quick Steps
Note: This procedure is only for initial install. If you have reformatted your iPad or deleted the Visual Inspect App, you must contact customer support in order to reactivate your license.

Find the serial number of your iPad
To register Visual Inspect, you must locate the serial number of your iPad.
You can do this in two ways:
- Find the serial number labeled on the delivered box.
or
- Find the serial number in the iPad settings and copy it directly from there.
To do this:
- Tap Settings on your iPad.
- Select General by scrolling down.
- Select About and and look for your device's serial number.
- Tap and hold the number to copy it

Register Visual Inspect from the iPad
If your iPad is connected to the Internet, you are able to register Visual Inspect directly on the iPad. If not, skip to the next section.
- Start Visual Inspect.
- Tap Settings command in upper toolbar and select the App Info entry in the list.
- In the form, provide:
- A valid email address.
- Your iPad's serial number.
- Tap the Register button to execute the registration. All information you entered here will be transmitted together with the number shown in the App ID field.
The registration file will directly be transferred and read after successful registration.
Note: If registration fails, follow the instructions given in the displayed error message.

Register Visual Inspect from a web browser
- If your iPad is not connected to the Internet, you can use any web browser to register Visual Inspect with the following link:
https://www.unlimited-apps.com/webregistration
If necessary, select your desired language in the lower part of the form.
- In the form, provide:
- A valid email address.
- Serial number of the iPad.
- Enter the App ID of your Visual inspect app.
- To find the App ID: Start Visual inspect. Tap the Settings command in the upper toolbar and select App Info. Your App ID is displayed here.
Click Register to execute.
Note: You have to make sure that the App ID and the serial number provided here belong to the same iPad. To register a bundle of Visual inspect apps, you must complete a registration form for each iPad individually.

Manually Load Registration file
Note: You only have to manual input the registration file if you have completed registration via web browser. If you have registered directly from the iPad, this process was done automatically.
After successful registration, you will receive a *.mwcamera file by email. If you have registered Visual inspect from a web browser, you have to manually input this file onto your iPad.
Recommended Method
- Copy the file to the File Sharing area for Visual Inspect in iTunes. Then start Visual Inspect, tap the Import icon +, select the Copy From iTunes icon and select file from list.
Alternative Method (From FTP Server)
- Copy the file to the FTP server.
- Start Visual Inspect and tap Settings in the upper toolbar.
- Select FTP settings to specify the correct download settings.
- Tap the Import command +, select the Copy From FTP Server command and browse to the file. Then select the file and tap the Download icon.
After successful registration, you'll get a confirmation message.
