Usually, neither Freestyle 2 nor SCENE require artificial targets, also called markers, to produce scans that can be registered. But there are situations where markers can be helpful, for example when the area you are scanning does not have well defined planes, or if you want to register a Freestyle 2 scan with a FARO Focus Scan. A set of 20 unique markers is included with the Freestyle 2 kit. Markers for printing can be downloaded in this article.
