Correcting a Grayed-Out Auto Button in Polyworks

Overview

In this article you can find how to correct a grayed-out Auto Button in Polyworks.

Procedure

To resolve this issue all you have to do is:

1. Re-select the "Probe' in the materials drop down list to the left of the Auto Button.
2. The Auto Button will then become active.
3. The Plug-in will gray the Auto button if the Algorithm under Advanced Settings is placed on one of the reflectivity-specific settings.
4. If the Algorithm is placed on Fixed, the Auto button is enabled.
