The FARO® Licensing Manager provides a single interface to manage all of your FARO software licenses from one convenient application. Activate a new license, manage and update licenses, and view active maintenance plans/expiration dates.
The Licensing Manager can be installed via FARO InTouch. FARO InTouch is a software distribution and management application that streamlines the downloading, installation, updating and execution of FARO software. To install the latest version of the Licensing Manager and FARO InTouch, follow the steps below.
The Licensing Manager only supports the x64 version of:



| ➀ | Licenses (home screen) - Displays all licenses currently installed on the computer. Each listing includes the expiration date and other related information. A filter can be used to narrow the licenses displayed and the settings panel allows to change the license selected to run FARO applications. | ![]() |
| ➁ | Activate - Allows entry of a product key for activation of a new license. | |
| ➂ | Configure - Provides basic settings to configure network license servers or clients. | |
| ➃ | Notifications - Opens the Notification pane. The notification pane lists newly activated licenses, expired licenses, and update license results. | |
| ➄ | Settings - Allows the management of the license selected to run the latest versions of CAM2, CAM2 Editions, FARO Zone, As-Built AutoCAD and As-Built Revit. |
The notifications pane contains a historic view of licensing-related activities. Clicking on any notification will display a pop-up window with additional details.

The licensing manager has a settings panel, with a button to see “My selected licenses”. It allows the management of the license selected to run the latest versions of CAM2, CAM2 Editions, FARO Zone, As-Built AutoCAD and As-Built Revit.

Clicking on the button opens the “My Selected Licenses” screen, which allows customers to delete the saved license selection for a given software product.

Next time the customer runs FARO Zone 3D, he will be able to choose the license to run the software (assuming he has more than one valid license available to choose from):
