Environmental Specifications and Overheating Prevention of the Focus3D Laser Scanner
You can shade the instrument using any type of umbrella. There are companies that make photo umbrellas which are ideal for this purpose. Note: The umbrella should not be fixed to the tripod or you may introduce unnecessary vibration and/or cause the instrument to be unstable.
If you are scanning in ambient temperatures excess of 104 degrees F or receiving error's due to temperature, you can place the scanner in an air conditioned building or vehicle to cool the scanner down faster to resume scanning.
The working environmental specifications of the Focus 3D are as follows:
Ambient temperature: 5° - 40°C (41°F - 104°F)
Humidity: Non-condensing
