Computers supplied by FARO® are configured with a “FARO Preferred User” Windows® user account. While this user account is assigned administrator rights, it is not set to require a login password.
- To avoid any possible issues, FARO recommends that all users manually set a password for the default user account as soon as possible.
- If you receive a password expired message, leave the “old password” field blank and provide a new password as desired.
