Probe Accuracy and Calibration Techniques for Point, Ball, and Swivel Edge Probes

With a point probe you will never achieve the same accuracy as with a ball probe. It is recommended that the customer place the calibration ball on a fixed stable table and to calibrate carefully. The swiveling edge probe should be calibrated on a sphere. The user guide for accessories should be part of the arm delivery, the calibration process is part of the arms users guide.
