Exporting Log Files from FARO Stream
Overview
Log files are system-level files that contain details about software behavior. They are typically used while troubleshooting. A FARO Support agent may ask you to locate and send in your log file to help resolve technical issues with the software.
Exporting the File
- Open the Stream App on your device and tap on the 3 horizontal lines icon.
- Tap the “Logs” menu item.
- Tap the blue “EXPORT LOGS” link.
- It is recommended to share the file using the devices sharing features. Choose one of the available sharing options to share the log file (zip file).
- By email or save the file (on device or cloud) and share/email it later with FARO Customer Service.
