Using a Wireless LAN Stick as a Dongle for SCENE
If a Photon Scanner operator owns a wireless dongle, the MAC ID of the wireless dongle can be used in substitution of the Ethernet MAC ID normally used for SCENE registration. Once the WLAN dongle's MAC ID is obtained, a SCENE license may be generated for dongle and wherever that dongle is used, the computer will assume a SCENE license.
NOTE: The same license key will be used every time it is activated on multiple computers. The operator should ensure that all other network cards (Ethernet, Wireless, Bluetooth) are turned off in order for the WLAN MAC ID to be recognized on each computer.
