Extend the functionality of FARO® software by downloading and installing Apps or Plugins that offer specialized features or provide industry specific tools. Browse the selections at the FARO 3D App Center. You may be surprised to find lots of handy things that can enrich your scan projects and save you time.

 

Default and Legacy SCENE/As-Built Modeler Apps

The default Apps are typically chosen and installed as part of the installation of SCENE or As-Built Modeler software. However, if the apps are not chosen for installation at that time, they can be manually installed individually at a later date. In addition, there are number of legacy Apps that are no longer included in the software distribution. While these Apps are no longer being developed, they are available for download and installation.

Under each App folder, you will find a “Software” sub-folder which contains the App download (.fpp file). Depending on availability, you will also find sub-folders containing user manuals and how-to videos. To install a SCENE App see: Installing Apps in SCENE.
