Exporting Hard Probed Features to CAD with CAM2

Preparation

• Measure required features
• Create required alignment / Coordinate System

Method

• Ensure all required features are measured
  
• Open the File tab
  
• Select Import / Export on the LH side, then on the Export column, select Measurement Data to CAD
  

From the LH pane, select all the required features that have the suffix ‘Actual’   Then use the center Arrows, to move the selection to the RH pane.   Select Next

Select the required Export format from the pull-down options.   Select Next

 The export CAD file can now be opened in a third-party CAD package, such as Rhinoceros as shown below:

Note: If importing the CAD model into CAM2, some features such as circles may not be displayed. To solve this:

Open Preferences, then select Display   Ensure that Show construction lines is checked.
