Importing Scans to SCENE

Import from a SD Card

1. Remove the SD card from Scanner and insert the card into your computer.
2. Open SCENE.
3. A dialog box will prompt you to import the scans. Click Yes.
4. On the Configure Project Transfer screen, select the Transfer check box next to the project(s) you want to transfer.
   
5. Click Start Transfer.
   • SCENE will create a project folder within the specified import folder and import the scans to it. This import folder location is specified under Settings > General > Project Folder. The default location is C:\Users\username\Documents\FARO\Projects.
6. You may now Process and Register the scans/project as needed.

Import from Your Computer or Other Location

If your scans are already located on the computer, you can manually import them as follows.

1. Open SCENE and click Create Project.
   
2. Name the project and click Create.
   
3. Click the Import tab.
4. Open the folder on your computer containing the scans. Select the scans and drag and drop them onto the blue circle within SCENE.
   
5. The scans will now be imported into the project.
6. You may now Process and Register the scans/project as needed.
