Overview

SiteScape Cloud is shutting down on July 1st, 2026 — but nothing you've captured has to close with it. The SiteScape to FARO Sphere XG Converter brings your scans across in full, point clouds together with their located photos and comments landing in Sphere XG ready to view, share and measure on the web.

Move your whole world to Sphere XG
Migrate any scan — single- or multi-segment — into a FARO Sphere XG project. Your point cloud arrives complete, with its located photos and comments intact and stamped with the scan's real capture date.

See it before you send it
Every scan opens in the built-in 3D viewer: orbit and fly through it, cut the roof off to look straight down inside a space, toggle markers, and compare two versions side by side. You migrate with confidence, because you've already seen it's right.

Clean it up first — or don't
Ship a scan exactly as captured, or reprocess it: choose registration methods and filters (noise reduction, moving-object removal, surface flattening, gap filling) and the app keeps the best alignment automatically. A built-in quality report shows how well the segments line up.

Migrate one — or your entire library
Bulk Migration turns a whole account into Sphere XG projects in a single pass. Pick a workspace, choose how the projects are named (prefix, capture date, running number), and let it download, process and upload everything — with a name-conflict check so nothing collides.

Bring in files from anywhere
Already exported your scans as E57 or PLY? Import them straight into a project — you don't even need an active SiteScape Cloud account to do it.
