No Valid Constellation Error in GeoSLAM Draw
Overview
This article explains how to fix the error stating "There is no valid constellation" when georefencing scans in GeoSLAM Draw.
Procedure
If at the end of the georeferencing process, the following error is displayed:
Code: 368 There is no valid constellation. Please increase the maximum difference and try again. |
Check the reference coordinates to ensure the columns have been set correctly. The X, Y and Z in both coordinate systems - local acquired by the scanner, and geodetic system acquired by the GPS or the theodolite/total station - have to correspond to each other. They both need to be set as X, Y and Z or Y, X and Z and NOT one as X, Y and Z and the other as Y, X and Z.
- Check the local reference base point and set the columns as X, Y and Z
- Check the geodetic coordinates and set them as X, Y and Z
