Grayed out or Disabled Commands on the Insight Tracker Menu and Toolbar
Overview
There is a known issue in Insight that intermittently causes most of the commands in the FARO® Laser Tracker menu and toolbar to be grayed out or disabled even though Insight is correctly connected to the tracker. When this occurs, hot keys such as F3, F9, etc do not respond properly.
Enable Commands on the Tracker Menu and Toolbar
- Go to Tracker > Utilities Control Pad and open the Control Pad / Tracker Pad.
- Click Turn Motors Off and then immediately click Turn Motors On.
- Close the Control Pad / Tracker Pad.
The Tracker Menu, Toolbar, and hotkeys are now enabled and should work correctly.
