Error-Database General Failure Message When Opening FARO Insight
This error occurs when the Insight.ini file is pointing a folder that either doesn’t exist on the computer or doesn't have full read / write / modify privileges.
To correct this, open up the insight.ini file, which is located in the same folder that Insight.exe is located.
Find the section that says:
[Directories]
Working=
Verify that the folder that Working is set to exists or has full access privileges. If it does not, change the folder that it is set to and save the changes to the file.
