Resetting the Admin Account for SoftCheck Tool Manager
There's a database where this is stored. The directory is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\FARO\CAM2 Measure\Learn\Db. However; the Db folder is hidden so they may have to adjust their Windows Explorer settings to see the folder (Tools < Folder Options. Click the View tab. Make sure Show hidden files and folders is selected).
If you delete the sctm.mdb file, then launch SCTM they will be able to setup their users again.
Another option would be to open the sctm.mdb database (if you have Microsoft Access), don't convert the database, just open if prompted. Open the OPERATOR table. All the operators and passwords will be shown in the table.
This can be used if you have lost your password, been locked out of the account or created the account incorrectly.
