Connection Issues with the USB FaroArm using Measure 3, 4, or X

This particular problem is created when driver update CD (FaroArm USB Driver 5) is installed prior to installing Measure. To resolve this issue the user can do one of two things:

1. Go to C:\Programs Files\Common Files\FARO Shared\Devices and copy the “wrapper” file and paste them to C:\Program Files\FARO\CAM2 Measure X 1.0\Devices. Note the file path may be different at the end for each version of software; 4.0, X, etc.

The wrapper files you need to copy are "FaroArmUsbWrapper.dll" and "FaroArmUsbWrapper_1033.dll"

or

2. Uninstall Measure and FaroArm USB Driver 5. Reinstall the both pieces of software in the following order: Measure, FaroArm USB Driver 5
