OverviewFARO® is proud to be the 3D measurement solutions partner of HTEC and its affiliates. Our goal is to equip the next generation(s) of machinists, quality inspectors, and production engineers with the training and inspection tools needed for them to excel in the workplace. Quality control, accuracy, and conformance to specifications continue to grow in their importance to manufacturers in today’s global competitive marketplace. HTEC students are investing large amounts of time in training on the latest CNC machining, assembly and production process. For a truly well-rounded education in the skills required for success, quality inspection tools and training also need to be considered in preparation for a career in manufacturing. What is HTEC?
The Haas Technical Education Center Network is an industry & education led initiative that enables manufacturing technology educators and their schools to acquire the latest CNC machine tools and related CNC ancillary equipment, software and educational materials.
Goals:
- Provide students with a relevant, high tech and hands-on educational experience
- Graduate work-ready CNC machinists, programmers & engineers for today's industrial employers and the manufacturing challenges of the future

It can be difficult for educators to remain up to date on industry and technology innovations. FARO is seeking to streamline this in relation to metrology products by providing HTEC education partners unique access to FARO training material and student certifications, as well as ongoing engagement at local regional conferences.
Train the Trainer
FARO is committed to partnering with HAAS Educators to equip them with the instructional curriculum, guides, and presentations to ensure the successful transfer of learning and skills to their students. Are you interested in hosting a TTT event? FARO will provide an instructor and equipment, HTEC Educators provide the venue and allow neighboring HTEC Educators to join the open session. Here you will receive instruction on FARO products and curriculum. We will not only train you to use the equipment, but we will provide coaching on how to use the training materials. Upon completion of a Train the Trainer session, the educator will be provided access to instructional guides, pdf training manuals, and access to our FARO Academy site for On-demand tutorials and courses.
