Top Tips
HARDWARE TIP: Take care with the GPS antenna on your NCTech camera when removing the system from the pelicase. We would advise storing your ZEB Discovery without the antenna attached. Remember to screw it in before use.
We advise using the new mobile app (NCTech iSTAR Pulsar) available in Apple or Google Play Store. It needs to be version 3.1.13.
We ask that you update your camera to the new firmware (2.6.1.4 or greater). This is important as there have been some fixes. Here you will find instructions on how to do that:
For full instructions, please see the NCTech website by clicking here.
- You will need to save details of a nearby WIFI network on each of the cameras (network name and password) and then change the switch mode on the camera to the left
- You need to then wait until the yellow light goes on and then it should go back to green. The update is done automatically through WIFI
- After that, you can restart the camera
- You should then see on the mobile app which firmware version the camera is running
