Angular Accuracy Failures after a Period of Time on the Laser Tracker
If the ambient temperature has changed by several degrees since the last time Self Compensation, Quick Compensation or Pointing Compensation was last run, the backsight error as reported from the Angular Accuracy checks may have changed and no longer be in tolerance. A new compensation should be run.
A temperature change of this nature may have also affected the overall alignment between the tracker and the object being measured due to temperature thermal expansion / contraction of the object and or stand that the tracker is mounted on. A Device Move or New Device Position should be used to correct for this.
