GD&T Standard Used by CAM2

Discription

The GD&T functionality in CAM2® is primarily based on the ASME Y14.5-2009 standard. Features that were previously aligned with the 1994 version of the standard have been updated to reflect the 2009 revisions.

However, some concepts introduced in the 2009 standard are not yet implemented within CAM2®. Additionally, there are certain exceptions where calculations follow ISO standards rather than ASME.

For detailed information on how specific GD&T features are calculated and which standards are applied, please refer to the GD&T Help sheets. If a standard is not explicitly specified, it should be assumed that the calculation follows the ASME standard.
