Overview

In this article you can find detailed instructions on how to activate and deactivate an online FARO Connect Licence.

Activating An Online FARO Connect Licence

  1. Open the Faro Connect Licensing Manager tool.
  2. In the ‘Activate’ tab, paste your Activation ID into the Activation code field.
  3. Input your personal details into the appropriate fields – these are essential for a successful activation of the licence.
  4. Click Activate.
  5. Under the ‘Licences’ page, a list of the installed licences will appear. The details of the installed licences (e.g. licence type, activation code, expiry date) will be visible in this page. If a licence is showing as “active”, this shows that the licence has been successfully activated for the appropriate software.

Deactivating An Online FARO Connect Licence

  1. Open the Faro Connect Licensing Manager tool.
  2. Navigate to the Deactivate page within the tool.
  3. Paste the Activation ID into the Activation code field that you wish to deactivate.
  4. Click Deactivate.
  5. Alternatively, navigate to the Licences page in the tool, click on the licence you would like to deactivate and click the red Deactivate button.
