Video/Graphic Card Issues with 3rd Party or High End Graphics Card Using SCENE
Overview
In most cases it helps to uncheck “advanced rendering” and “off screen rendering”. First point should always be to check whether the latest driver is installed. But sometimes it helps to use an older driver. This is what ATI writes on this issue:
Although the driver updates will resolve known issues, they may also introduce new issues. However, if the software was running fine before the driver update and undesirable effects and issues arise from the updates, you may consider going back to the previous driver version.

In some cases it helped to select different settings in the graphics cards setup (AMD Catalyst Control Center). ATI writes:
Adjusting the system, game and / or AMD Catalyst Control Center settings can affect how a game performs. This usually is done to enhance the graphics quality and performance of the game for a more enjoyable gaming experience. However, a game software crash, hang, freeze or reboot can occur when these settings are changed.
