System Requirements for FARO InTouch Installation

Overview

In this article you can find information on system requirements for InTouch installation.

System Requirements

• FARO InTouch is only compatible with Microsoft Windows 10/11
• Verify that the Windows account used to perform the installation has local administrator privileges. It will be necessary to have the ability to:
  • Create New Services
  • Start New Services
  • Stop Running Services
  • Read Existing Registry Entries
  • Modify Existing Registry Entries
  • Create New Registry Entries
  • Create / Modify / Delete Desktop Icons
• After downloading the InTouch installer, run the installer only from a local drive
• Apply any pending Windows updates before installing
• Verify available disk space. During the installation, at least three times the installer size (~350MB) is required
• Verify your computer can access the required InTouch remote URLs, detailed below

Required InTouch Remote URLs

In order for InTouch to function properly, access to the following URL’s is required. If you are having issues installing or updating InTouch, ensure all hardware and software firewalls are allowing traffic to these locations.
