Sampling Rate Setting of the Laser Tracker in CAM2 Measure
The tracker takes X, Y, Z measurements (encoder and distance measurements combined) internally at a rate of 1000 samples per second.
The highest sustained data rate when scanning is closer to 350 points as some of the time that would be spent averaging the measurements is spent starting and stopping measurements. This would be the highest sustained rate of the TTL trigger as well.
To change the quantity at which it scans in Measure X, go to Devices > Hardware Config. Options available will be samples/ measurement (for static measurements) and samples/scan for scanning measurements.
To change the quantity at which is scans in Measure Q or M10, go to Devices > Hardware Configuration > Settings. Change the number of Samples in the Measurement Mode section at the top of the Laser Tracker Settings dialog.
