- Consider slow linear and angular movements of Freestyle3D, there should be also sufficient structure in its field of view.
- The capturing of an object should not be unnecessarily long. Up to a couple of minutes should be a sufficient scan time.
- In some cases, you can make a scanloop.(stop scanning and restart from the beginning of the same area, even with an overlap, which would later lead a better pre-processing)
