Customer Service may require specific information about the computer that you have Measure installed on and may ask you to collect a *.nfo. This may be in addition to sending Log Files.
Attached is a tool that will automatically extract this information and save the information into a file named "CAM2_Support_Data.zip" that is placed on your Windows desktop. Send this .zip file to FARO Support. Copy the file "FARO Measure Support Information Retrieval.bat" that is attached to any location on the computer that has Measure installed and double click on it to run it.

With all versions of Measure, the file can be created by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information. Then go to File > Save and save the file on your desktop.
If you are using Measure Q, go to Help > Generate Support Data. Once created, a message will appear telling you where the nfo file is saved.
Either method can take approximately 3-4 minutes to generate. Send the file to FARO Support.

CAM2, generate support data, nfo, system information, 10
