Error-Invalid Camera Settings While Compensating the Laser Line Probe
Overview
Measure 10 displays an error, saying “Invalid Camera Settings,” when you are compensating the Laser Line Probe (LLP) and communication between the LLP camera and Measure 10 is interrupted, lost, or corrupted. This causes Measure 10 to lose LLP settings. If you get this error, force the system to save the LLP settings to correct the problem.
Save LLP Settings
- With the LLP connected to the FaroArm and Measure 10 open, on the ribbon click on Devices > Hardware Configuration. The Faro Device Control Panel appears.
- Click Probe Management. The Compensation dialog box appears.
- Click Edit beside the Current Probe drop down box and select Laser Probe.
- Click OK.
- Go to Where can I find information on the Laser Line Probe (LLP) and how to calibrate it to continue.
Troubleshooting
If you continue to see the error while you are calibrating the LLP, contact FARO Support.
