FARO Software Trial Requests
Overview
Fully functional 30-day trial licenses are available for all FARO® software. Upon download of the software via the webform (located on FARO.com)*, a trial license request is automatically generated.
Upon completion of the form you will receive an initial email confirming receipt of the request, then once approved, an additional email (allow up to 24hrs) containing an Activation Code (product key) and other helpful links.
If you have not received an email within 1-2 hours of submission, please verify it didn’t go to your spam folder by mistake. If you have not received a response within 24 hours, please reach out to us directly at support@faro.com.
*Downloads via the Knowledge Base webforms will not initiate a trial activation request, they will only provide the installer.
To Activate Your Trial
When you start the application for the first time on a computer that does not have a valid license, the License Manager Wizard homepage will be displayed.
Note: FARO Trial software can also be activated using the FARO Licensing Manager (if installed). See the article: FARO Licensing Manager Application, “Activate” section.
- Ensure you have stable internet connection.
- Click the Product key button, then enter the Activation Code you received via email into the field provided and click Next.
- The software will then validate and activate your trial license and you can begin using the software.
