FARO SCENE Standalone API
Overview
FARO® provides the SCENE API to contracted partners which enables application engineers to create custom software to read, write and change SCENE files and use further functionality of the SCENE software for 3rd party applications.
Listed below is a generalized overview of the API capabilities:

Key Request and Download Resources
To get access to the SCENE API please contact your regional FARO Support. Your request will be submitted to FARO product management for a strict approval decision. It is essential to describe the application and purpose of the API integration for your project with as much detail as possible. If you have questions feel free to reach out to our FARO Support. After approval, you will receive a welcome letter and will need to sign an NDA before you receive the link to the download repository, necessary keys, user documentation and support guidelines.
Getting Technical Support for the SCENE API
We do not supply technical support for the SCENE API outside of the online documentation. In case a partner contract exists, terms of service and support as well as responsibilities of each party are defined in the contract.
