When you are updating your FARO® product license by applying the .V2C file you received in an email from FARO, you may see SafeNet Error Code 19, Required XML tags not found.
This happens because your email client is changing the XML code in the .V2C file. If this happens to you, contact FARO Support and tell the Agent that you have received SafeNet/HASP error code 19. The Agent can help you in one of these ways:
- Put the .V2C file on the FARO Box.com account and provide you with a link so that you can download it directly.
- Put the .V2C file in a .zip file and email it to you. When you receive the.zip file, extract it to your desktop.
Once you have an intact .V2C file, you can continue with the manual product license key update process.
