Multiple trackers can be connected to one computer by using a Network Hub or Switch, a standard Ethernet cable instead of the cross-wired Ethernet cable and changing the IP address of the additional trackers from the default IP address of 126.96.36.199. Typically, an IP address of 188.8.131.52 is used for the second tracker, 184.108.40.206 for the third, etc.
Many times, a Network Hub or Switch and the standard Ethernet cables can be obtained from your Network or IT Department but if they are not, they can be purchased at local computer or electronic stores.
The IP address of the tracker can be changed by opening FARO Utilities, pressing Connect, then click Find Trackers. Once the Tracker is located using Find Trackers, select it and press the "Change IP Address" button and enter the new IP address of the tracker. A reboot of the Tracker will be required for the new IP Address to work.
