To ensure FARO® products meet rigorous accuracy requirements for international metrology standards, all global FARO® manufacturing and factory service locations are ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited in the field of calibration for multiple devices through ANAB (ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board). Details
ANAB complies with international standards and requirements for accreditation bodies and is a member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), and the InterAmerican Accreditation Cooperation (IAAC). ANAB is signatory of relevant IAF, ILAC, and IAAC multilateral cooperative arrangements (MLAs) and multilateral recognition arrangements (MRAs). Members of these organizaions are admitted to the MLAs/MRAs after a stringent assessment of their operations by a peer evaluation team charged to ensure full compliance with international standards and IAF, ILAC, and IAAC requirements. MLA/MRA signatories are required to recognize the certificates and reports issued by bodies accredited by all other signatories of the MLAs/MRAs.
Through the IAF, ILAC, IAAC, and MRAs/MLAs, ANAB cooperates with other accreditation bodies around the world to provide value to its accredited customers and their customers, ensuring that accredited certificates are recognized nationally and internationally.
