Error-LMNotFound When Starting FARO Software
Behavior
When attempting to open FARO Software you receive the following error screen (LMNotFound):

This indicates the Sentinel licensing manager is not installed. This will affect any software that utilizes the Sentinel licensing manager, such as CAM2, SCENE, FARO Zone, BuildIT, As-Built, etc. In addition, certain hardware device connectivity issues may occur where license validation is part of that process.
Solution
You can verify the Sentinel LDK License Manager is installed and running by typing http://localhost:1947 into the URL bar of your web browser. The Sentinel Admin Control Center page should display:

If the Sentinel Admin Control Center page does not display, installing/reinstalling the HASP driver will often resolve this issue. Refer to the following article for this procedure: Download and Install the Sentinel HASP License Driver and FARO Remote Update System (RUS)
Note: Verify that all anti-virus software, firewalls, or security policies are not blocking the Sentinel LDK License Manager Service, hasplms.exe, or TCP port 1947.
